Practitioners are called "the healing arm of the church." They embrace the entire congregation with their loving consciousness, uplifting and serving through Healing Prayer Treatment.

Practitioners are dedicated to daily prayer treatment for those who have requested assistance.  Those experiencing personal challenges may request Healing Prayer Treatment by filling out a pink slip located in the pews or by the prayer chest located on the Ministry of Prayer table in the foyer across from
the Inner-Light Bookstore.

Spiritual Mind Treatment, as taught and practiced by Religious Science, is based upon the belief that we are surrounded by a Universal Mind, which reacts to our thoughts according to Law.  Through the use of scientific technique, Spiritual Mind treatment (which is really scientific prayer) - the individual's consciousness  (his/her belief about him/herself) is changed, thereby causing a change in his/her body and affairs.

We are free to choose what we shall believe and use the Law of Mind to think either destructively or constructively.  By using the Law constructively through Spiritual Mind Treatment, we can attract health, peace, abundance, harmony and joy.  As our faith in our ability to use this Law of Mind grows stronger, our capacity to know the Truth of our being develops, bringing happier self expression.

We recognize Universal Spirit.  "Know the Truth and the Truth shall make you free" is the basis of all healing, and the Truth is that we are already free - "made in the image and likeness of God."  Knowing this, regardless of how undesirable the situation or condition may appear, or how long it has existed, it can be changed under the one Law of Love - the Law of Universal God Mind.
