BOOK REVIEW CLASS #1:  -  This week Eula Popovich, RScP will be facilitating Rev. Dianne’s study group discussing Deepak Chopra’s classic book on healing, Ageless Body, Timeless Mind scheduled Thursday on August 26, at 11:00 AM.  Please feel free to drop by and share during this informal discussion.

BOOK REVIEW CLASS: 

Beginning June 3rd through July 22, on Thursday afternoon, 1 P.M. to 2:30 P.M. Dee-Ann Herold, RScP, will be facilitating a class on the book entitled, Calling in "The One," by Katherine Woodard Thomas. This is a non-credit class.

Tai Chi Class: continues every Monday, at 10 AM, facilitated by Kathleen Amnasan.  Tai Chi is a slow moving exercise that improves your balance, coordination, circulation, strength, posture and peace of mind.  Sign-up sheet in the lobby.
COMING IN SEPTEMBER,
  THE ESSENTIAL ERNEST HOLMES:  

Reverend Anne Greene will be facilitating this 10-week class beginning Monday,
September 20 at 6:30 PM. 


This class is ideal for everyone, from the future Practitioner to the inquisitive newcomer.   It is the first UCRS course to delve into all of Ernest ‘s writings, feasting on his quiet, devotional writings, as well as his impassioned, chalk-in-hand teaching to future leaders.  Tuition is $100 and may be paid weekly, textbook is The Essential Ernest Holmes, the workbook is $10 and the fee to UCSL to receive credit is $45.  This is a required course for entering Practitioner training.  There is a sign-up sheet in the foyer.
NEW FOUNDATIONS OFTHE SCIENCE OF MIND:
   
This is a revision and widely updated version of the ten-week Foundational Course. It presents new spiritual principle each week and a spiritual practice to support that principle.  The Creative Process is introduced at the beginning of the class and then flows through each week, so that the student has the opportunity to see and use the Creative Process at work in each spiritual principle.  Each week also features the writing of one of our elders as well as one of our contemporaries on the subject at hand.  This includes Dr. William Hornaday, Dr. Frank Richilieu, Terry Cole Whittaker, Dr. Jesse Jennings, Dr. Kathy Hearn, Dr. Linda McNamar and many more.  The class is facilitated by Rev. Dianne Nockey and begins Thursday, September 16, 2010 at 6:30 PM in the conference room.  Textbook is Science of Mind, Ernest Holmes.  Tuition is $100 and may be paid weekly, Workbook cost is $20 and there is also a fee of $45 for United Centers for Spiritual Living to receive credit.
